Graphic Designer Intern

The Freedom Institute, an education provider founded in Lahore with programs across Pakistan, seeks a Graphic Designer Intern based in Lahore to support digital finance and halal cryptocurrency education initiatives. This internship offers hands-on experience creating visual assets for online courses, social media, and marketing materials while working with a small creative team focused on clarity and compliance with Islamic finance principles. The role is ideal for a creative student or recent graduate who wants practical design experience in the education and fintech space.

Responsibilities

• Create visual assets for social media (posts, stories, cover images) aligned with brand guidelines.
• Design slide decks and infographics for online courses and workshops to simplify complex finance concepts.
• Produce promotional banners, email headers, and web graphics for campaigns and landing pages.
• Assist in developing templates for course materials and printable handouts.
• Collaborate with content creators and instructors to ensure visuals support pedagogical goals and regulatory sensitivity.
• Prepare files for digital platforms and print production, following file organization and brand standards.

• Must-have: Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) or equivalent design tools.
• Understanding of layout, typography, color theory, and visual hierarchy for educational content.
• Ability to create clear infographics and data visuals that explain financial concepts succinctly.
• Experience preparing assets for digital platforms (social media, web) and for print production.
• Familiarity with presentation design (PowerPoint or Google Slides) and template creation.
• Attention to detail, file organization, and ability to follow brand guidelines and feedback loops.
• Good communication skills and ability to collaborate with content specialists and instructors.
• Portfolio or samples of recent design work demonstrating relevant capabilities.
