Job Description: Organization: Door of Awareness (nonprofit based in Lahore)

Role Overview:
The IT Coordinator will support the organization’s digital infrastructure, ensuring reliable systems for donor management, communications, and program operations. This role reports to the Operations Manager and works closely with fundraising, communications, and program teams to enable smooth technical delivery across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and administer office IT systems, including network, servers, workstations, and backups to ensure secure and reliable availability of services.
  • Support fundraising platforms and donor databases by handling user access, data integrity checks, and routine maintenance tasks.
  • Manage email and collaboration tools, website content updates, and coordinate with external vendors for hosting, SSL, and third-party integrations as needed.
  • Implement and monitor cybersecurity measures, perform regular updates, patch management, and anti-malware scanning to protect organizational data.
  • Provide user support and training for staff on common applications, remote access, file sharing, and permissions.
  • Maintain IT asset inventory and assist with procurement and vendor relationships.
Job Specification:
  • Operating systems & servers: Administer Windows and/or Linux workstations and basic server administration.
  • Networking: TCP/IP, LAN/WAN, DHCP, DNS, WiFi configuration and troubleshooting.
  • Backup & DR: Experience with backup solutions, disaster recovery procedures, and data integrity validation.
  • Email & collaboration: Exchange / Office 365 / Google Workspace administration.
  • Web & hosting: Basic web CMS management, hosting, DNS records, SSL certificate renewal.
  • Security: Antivirus, patch management, user account policies, access controls.
  • Systems support: Help-desk ticket handling, user training, documentation, remote support tools.
  • Applications: Support for CRM or donor management systems (user roles, data export/import).
  • IT operations: IT asset inventories, vendor coordination, procurement processes.
  • Communication: Good written/verbal communication and attention to detail; ability to work within nonprofit compliance and data protection expectations.
