Is Thyker free to use?+
Yes. Thyker is completely free for job seekers. We never charge to view a job, apply to a job, or receive alerts. If any listing anywhere on our site asks you to pay a fee to apply, it is fraudulent — please report it to security@thyker.online and we will remove it.
Where do the job listings come from?+
Thyker aggregates publicly-listed jobs from Pakistan's leading job portals — including Mustakbil, PakistanJobsBank, jobz.pk and others. We index the same postings you'd find on those sites, then present them in one searchable interface. Every job page shows exactly where the listing came from and links to the original source.
How do I apply to a job?+
Click the Apply on [source site] button on any job page. This takes you to the original posting on the source portal, where you complete the application directly with the employer. Thyker does not process applications — we're a directory, not a recruiter.
Are the jobs verified?+
We do our best to filter obvious spam and scams, but ultimately the source portal is responsible for verifying employers. When in doubt: never send money to apply, never share your national ID or bank details for a job you haven't been formally offered, and always prefer well-known companies. Report suspicious postings to us and we'll take them down.
How often are new jobs added?+
Our scrapers run every 2-4 hours across our source portals. New listings typically appear on Thyker within a few hours of being posted on the source. You can sort by newest on the Jobs page to see the freshest listings first.
Why did a job disappear from Thyker?+
Two reasons: (1) the source portal removed it because the deadline passed or the position was filled; (2) our system auto-expires jobs 14 days after we last saw them at the source. Expired pages still load (with a banner) so any bookmarks stay valid, but the listing is hidden from search and category pages.
Can I get email alerts for new jobs?+
Yes. Enter your email in the newsletter box at the bottom of any page and we'll send periodic digests of the latest openings. You can unsubscribe with one click at any time.
I'm an employer. Can I post a job on Thyker directly?+
We currently aggregate from portals rather than accept direct submissions, but you can submit an opening via our Post a job form. It'll be reviewed and, if it meets our guidelines, published for free. Direct-posting features for employers are coming soon — email hello@thyker.online if you'd like early access.
How do you use my data?+
Very lightly. We store an anonymous cookie to remember your dark-mode preference and saved jobs. If you subscribe to the newsletter, we store your email address only. See our Privacy Policy for the full details. We do not sell data to third parties.
Are there ads on Thyker?+
Yes. We display Google AdSense ads to keep the service free for job seekers. Ads are clearly separated from real job listings and never mixed in as if they were real openings. If you see an ad you find inappropriate, click the "AdChoices" icon on the ad to report it.
I found a listing that's a scam. How do I report it?+
Email security@thyker.online with the URL of the listing and a brief description of the problem. We review reports within 48 hours and remove confirmed scams immediately. See our DMCA policy for content-removal requests.
Does Thyker work on mobile?+
Yes — the entire site is mobile-optimized, and you can add it to your home screen as an app (Progressive Web App) for one-tap access. On iPhone: Share → Add to Home Screen. On Android: the Chrome menu will prompt you.
How can I search only for jobs in my city?+
Use the city filter on the Jobs page, or visit a city landing page directly — for example jobs in Karachi, jobs in Lahore, or jobs in Islamabad.
