Business Development Manager (Exhibitions)

Role overview

We are seeking a dynamic Business Development Manager to join the exhibitions team to drive sales, secure bookings and sponsorships, and manage client relationships for trade shows and events.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and develop new business opportunities in exhibitions and trade shows
• Generate leads and secure exhibition space bookings and sponsorships
• Build and maintain relationships with exhibitors, sponsors, and corporate clients
• Understand client requirements and prepare proposals, presentations, and quotations
• Achieve monthly sales and revenue targets
• Coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth exhibition planning and execution

• Proven experience in business development, sales, or client management within exhibitions, events, or related industries (5 years indicated)
• Strong negotiation and presentation skills
• Ability to generate and convert leads into sales
• Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities
• Organizational and project-coordination skills to manage multiple events
• Target-driven with experience meeting sales/revenue goals
• Proficiency in proposal and quotation preparation
• Willingness to travel as required

Preferred

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Hospitality, or related field or equivalent experience
• Certification in sales or event management (advantage)
