BD Manager

Location: Lahore, Pakistan (on-site)

Position overview:

Business Development Manager responsible for growing revenue, developing partnerships, and securing high-value events across Pakistan. Work closely with Karachi headquarters and regional teams.

Key responsibilities:

• Develop and execute strategic business development plans to achieve sales targets and expand market share in event services.
• Identify, qualify, and pursue corporate and private event opportunities (conferences, product launches, large celebrations).
• Prepare persuasive proposals, cost estimates, and presentation materials tailored to client requirements.
• Build and maintain relationships with clients, agencies, suppliers, and venue partners; manage negotiations and commercial terms to maximize profitability.
• Collaborate with operations, creative, and logistics teams to ensure feasibility, accurate costing, and seamless handover.
• Manage multiple proposals under tight deadlines and maintain pipeline/forecasts in CRM.
• Travel as required to meet clients and assess venues.

• Must-have: 3-5 years progressive business development or sales experience in events, hospitality, advertising, or related services.
• Proven track record in client acquisition, account management, and closing high-value contracts.
• Experience preparing proposals, pricing, margin management, and negotiating contract terms.
• Familiarity with event production processes, vendor sourcing, and venue selection to assess feasibility and costing.
• Experience using CRM systems to manage leads, pipeline, and forecasts.
• Strong MS Office skills (Excel, PowerPoint); excellent written and verbal communication, presentation, and pitching skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with creative, operations, and finance teams; strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
