Summary:

Prepare and bake bread, pastries, and other baked goods according to established recipes and production schedules.

Operate and maintain baking equipment and tools safely and hygienically.

Ensure product consistency, portion control, and presentation standards.

Follow food safety and sanitation procedures, including proper storage and labeling.

Assist with inventory control, ingredient preparation, and basic quality checks.

Clean and maintain workstations and equipment at end of shift.

Job Specification:

• Minimum 1-2 years hands-on experience in a bakeshop or production commissary.
• Experience using various baking equipment and tools.
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.
• Ability to follow recipes and maintain product consistency.
• Vocational graduate in a related course.
• Valid NC II - Bread & Pastry Production certification (required).
