Job Description: Role overview

Create clear, persuasive, SEO-aware content for websites, product listings, landing pages, and blog posts to support client acquisition and retention.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and edit website copy, product descriptions, landing pages, and blog articles aligned with client brand voice and SEO best practices.
• Perform keyword research and integrate target keywords naturally to improve organic search visibility.
• Collaborate with designers, developers, and SEO specialists to ensure content fits technical and visual requirements.
• Draft content briefs, maintain an editorial calendar, and manage multiple content projects to meet deadlines.
• Audit and optimize existing client content; recommend and implement on-page SEO changes.
• Proofread and ensure content accuracy, consistency, and quality.

Job Specification: Must-have

• Proven copywriting and editing for web and eCommerce with portfolio samples
• Practical knowledge of on-page SEO: keyword research, meta tags, headings, URL structure, internal linking
• Experience writing product descriptions, landing pages, blog posts, and call-to-action copy
• Familiarity with CMS (WordPress, Shopify, or similar) and basic HTML for formatting
• Ability to create content briefs and follow style guides
• Strong research and fact-checking skills; ability to synthesize technical/product information
• Analytical skills to review content performance (Google Analytics or equivalent) and iterate
• Time management and project coordination to handle multiple clients and deadlines
