Senior Attorney

Job Description: Location: Lyttelton Manor, Centurion

Role summary:

Senior Attorney responsible for handling general litigation, civil, labour and employment law matters; leading and mentoring a legal team; participating in strategic decision-making; and conducting or supporting forensic investigations where required.

Minimum requirements:

• LLB degree and admitted as an Attorney.
• Minimum 8-10 years post-admission experience as a practising attorney with substantial practical experience in Labour and Employment Law.
• Proven independent practice in General Litigation, Civil Law, Labour and Employment Law matters.
• Forensic investigations experience advantageous.
• Director-level experience preferred or readiness to contribute to firm leadership and strategy.
• Proven ability to lead, mentor and manage a senior legal team.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; strong business English proficiency.
• Driver's licence and own vehicle.
• Residing in or within daily commuting distance of Centurion.
• Stable employment record with contactable references; no lawful termination for misconduct or non-performance.
• Available to start as soon as possible.

Job Specification:

• Must-have: Admitted Attorney (LLB), 8-10 years post-admission practising experience, Labour & Employment Law expertise, General Litigation, Civil Law matters, ability to work independently, team leadership/mentoring, excellent written and verbal English, driver's licence and own vehicle, local to Centurion.
• Preferred: Forensic investigations experience, director-level/strategic leadership experience.
