Job Description: bOn-site Restaurant Manager role for a company site in Jhelum, Pakistan. Responsible for daily restaurant operations, food quality, safety, team leadership, and operational efficiency.

bKey responsibilities

  • Oversee daily operations: manage opening/closing, inventory controls, vendor coordination, and cost monitoring to meet budget targets and minimize waste.
  • Food quality and safety: implement and enforce food safety procedures, ensure compliance with local health regulations, supervise food preparation and presentation, and maintain hygiene standards.
  • Team leadership: recruit, train, schedule, mentor kitchen and service staff; conduct performance reviews and develop cross-training to maintain coverage.
  • Customer experience: ensure consistent, friendly service for employees, guests, and partners; handle feedback and resolve service issues.
  • Operational controls: monitor POS transactions, sales reconciliation, labor costs, and basic P&L awareness.
  • Sustainability: support waste minimization and local sourcing practices.
Job Specification: bMinimum requirements
  • Minimum 3 years managing a restaurant, cafeteria, or hospitality outlet with measurable operational results.
  • Proven knowledge of food safety standards and HACCP/local health regulations; ability to implement and audit procedures.
  • Inventory management and cost control skills, including vendor negotiation and stock rotation techniques.
  • Staff management: hiring, scheduling, training, performance evaluation, and conflict resolution.
  • Customer service orientation with experience handling complaints and improving guest satisfaction.
  • Basic accounting/reporting skills: POS familiarity, sales reconciliation, labor cost monitoring, and simple P&L awareness.
  • Excellent communication skills in Urdu and English; ability to coordinate with procurement and operations teams.
  • Organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
  • Commitment to sustainability practices such as waste minimization and local sourcing.
