Avanza Solutions is seeking a Principal Java Developer to lead Java-based projects and contribute to digital transformation initiatives. The role involves designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality software, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and mentoring developers.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and mentor a team of developers on Java projects
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable, high-quality software applications
- Architect and implement RESTful web services and microservices
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and deliver features
- Ensure application performance, quality, and responsiveness
- Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve complex system issues
- Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends
- 8+ years of Java development experience
- Strong experience with Java frameworks: Spring, Hibernate
- Experience building RESTful APIs and microservices architecture
- Familiarity with cloud platforms: AWS, Azure
- Experience with databases: SQL and NoSQL
- Excellent problem-solving skills and teamwork
