- Location: Impala Platinum Mine, Rustenburg, South Africa (on-site)
- Employment type: Full-Time, Permanent
- Shift: Morning Shift
- Overview: Operate assigned heavy/site machinery safely and reliably. Previous mining or construction exposure is an advantage.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Safely operate earthmoving equipment, compactors, loaders, and other assigned machinery
- Perform pre-start inspections and routine maintenance
- Monitor machine performance and report faults and safety hazards
- Follow site safety procedures and PPE requirements
- Assist with loading/unloading, material handling, and site housekeeping
- Complete operation logs and basic reports; attend toolbox talks
- Minimum must-have: Minimum 1 year proven experience operating heavy or construction machinery
- Strong safety awareness and adherence to procedures
- Basic mechanical troubleshooting and maintenance skills
- Basic computer / numeric logging skills
- Good communication, teamwork and time-management
- Valid Code 10 driver’s license preferred
