- Provide legal advice on healthcare regulations, licensing, patient rights and regulatory compliance applicable to hospital operations.
- Draft, review and negotiate contracts including service agreements, vendor terms, employment agreements and partnership documents.
- Support corporate governance by preparing internal policies, consent forms and medico-legal documentation.
- Assist with investigations and resolution of complaints, disputes and liability matters; coordinate with external counsel for litigation or arbitration.
- Monitor legal changes in Cambodian law and regulation affecting hospital operations and advise management.
- Bachelor’s degree in Law (LLB) required; license to practice law in Cambodia or equivalent preferred.
- Minimum 3 years’ relevant experience in-house or in a law firm in healthcare, corporate or regulatory law.
- Knowledge of Cambodian healthcare law, licensing and regulatory frameworks.
- Experience drafting and negotiating commercial contracts, employment agreements and service-level arrangements.
- Compliance and policy drafting, incident review and implementation of corrective actions.
- Experience working with regulators and external counsel; translating legal requirements into operational procedures.
- Excellent legal research and communication skills in English; ability to prepare clear legal memoranda and reports.
- Organizational skills to manage licensing calendars, document controls and multiple concurrent matters.
- Attention to detail, ethical judgment and ability to handle confidential information.
