The Learning Support Teacher will provide structured support to students with ADHD and other special educational needs (SEN). The role focuses on improving student focus, classroom behaviour, and academic performance through individualized plans, positive teaching strategies, and coordination with classroom teachers and parents.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement individualized support plans for students with ADHD and SEN
- Recommend and guide classroom strategies for teachers to support students' learning and behaviour
- Track student progress and prepare weekly and monthly reports
- Conduct parent meetings and provide regular updates on progress and strategies
- Create a calm, structured environment and run focus-building and self-regulation activities
- Support behaviour management and differentiated teaching within the school setting
- Must-have: Experience working with ADHD/SEN students (min. 2 years)
