IT Executive

Job Description: Job Summary: The IT Executive will be responsible for providing technical assistance and support to staff and clients within the organization. This role includes diagnosing hardware and software problems, managing and troubleshooting IT systems, maintaining network infrastructure, and ensuring smooth IT operations. The IT Support Officer will also be responsible for escalating more complex issues to higher-level technical support when necessary.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide first-line support to resolve hardware, software, and network-related issues.
• Respond to and resolve IT support tickets in a timely manner.
• Assist employees with setting up and troubleshooting computers, printers, and other peripherals.
• Perform routine maintenance of IT equipment, ensuring optimal performance.
• Install, configure, and update operating systems, applications, and security patches.
• Manage IT infrastructure and ensure system availability.
• Support software and hardware installations and collaborate with teams to optimize IT processes.
• Maintain data security and ensure compliance with regulations.

Job Specification:

• Experience: Minimum 2 years in an IT support or similar role.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field.
• Technical skills: Troubleshooting desktops/laptops, printers, peripherals; basic network administration and maintenance; OS and application installation and patching.
• Tools/Knowledge: Familiarity with ticketing/support workflows, common OS (Windows), antivirus/security patching; backup and basic server or cloud-based accounting support (preferred).
• Work mode: On-site (Karachi, FB Area).
