Independent Working Chef - I

Job Description: We, Rasamayi Foods Eindhoven and Almere, specialize in organizing events and serving Indian and continental dishes. We are hiring for 8 Independent Working Chef - I positions at two locations: Rasamayi Foods, Bleekweg 67, 5611EZ Eindhoven and Rasamayi Foods, Traverse 5, 1315TJ Almere.

Role: Independent Working Chef - I

Key Tasks and Responsibilities:

• Independently prepare lunch and dinner dishes
• Carry out mise en place and preparatory tasks (cutting, mixing, portioning)
• Ensure quality, taste, and presentation of dishes
• Apply and comply with HACCP and safety regulations
• Manage inventory: ordering, receiving, and checking products
• Clean and maintain kitchen equipment and workspaces
• Contribute recipe ideas, menu updates, and process improvements
• Supervise compliance with regulations and the work of kitchen staff

Job Specification: Must have:

• MBO level 3 (work and thinking level MBO 3)
• Strong technical culinary knowledge and skills
• Ability to work independently and take initiative
• Ability to handle stress and busy periods
• Experience working within a restaurant team
• Speak Dutch or English
