bRole overview: The Independent Working Chef-I will prepare and cook authentic Japanese dishes including sushi, teppanyaki, tempura and BBQ items, working within established kitchen procedures to deliver consistent quality and presentation. The role involves working varied shifts with flexible hours, supporting kitchen operations, following food safety and hygiene standards, and participating in internal training and development.

bResponsibilities include:ulliPrepare and cook menu items (sushi, teppanyaki, tempura, BBQ) to specification

Maintain food safety, hygiene and cleanliness in the kitchen

Ensure consistent portioning, taste and presentation

Work independently and as part of the kitchen team

Participate in internal training and follow kitchen procedures

Support efficient service during morning shifts and other scheduled shifts/cover as required

Job Specification: buliMBO level 3 (working and thinking level)

Demonstrable knowledge of basic cooking techniques

Experience preparing Japanese cuisine or kitchen experience preferred (sushi, teppanyaki, tempura, BBQ) desirable

Ability to work independently and in a team

Speaks English or Dutch

Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards
