Field Service Technician

Location: Karachi, Pakistan (on-site) with travel to other cities as required

Employment type: Full-Time; Morning Shift

Overview:

• Provide on-site installation, validation and commissioning of analytical and scientific instruments.
• Perform hands-on troubleshooting, service and repairs at customer sites.
• Provide technical support and on-site training to customers.
• Interface with field applications, customer support/services, product management, manufacturing and sales teams.
• Develop and maintain service technical documentation and enterprise service information.
• Follow up on service-related tasks including pre-installation surveys, demos and payment recovery as needed.

Tools & equipment: Laptop and motorcycle required for field visits.

Salary: 50,000 - 75,000 PKR per month

Work mode: On-site with travelJob Specification:

• Education: Graduate or Diploma in Electronics, Applied Physics, Chemistry or related field preferred.
• Experience: 4-5 years repair and maintenance of instruments or sales of similar instruments; fresh graduates may be considered for trainee roles.
• Technical skills: Service and maintenance of analytical/medical capital equipment; experience with spectrometers, HPLC or analytical instruments preferred.
• Electronics skills: Ability to test and troubleshoot electrical analog and digital circuits; component-level repair ability.
• Software/IT: Working knowledge of MS Office and Excel; good understanding of computers and software.
• Other requirements: Own motorcycle and laptop; pleasant personality; ability to work in a team; on-site customer-facing experience.
