Field Engineer Onsite

Job Description: Job Title: Field Engineer Onsite (Auckland, New Zealand)

Employment Type: Short-term Contract

Role Summary:

• Travel to project sites across Auckland to perform installations, maintenance, commissioning, decommissioning, and fault finding of mechanical, electrical, and network/systems equipment.
• Collaborate with project managers and site teams and represent the company professionally on site.
• Follow site procedures for powering off network devices, removing LAN cables and connections, unracking equipment, and moving devices to designated storage rooms or assigned locations.
• Ensure all work complies with safety, health and environment (SHE) procedures and site requirements.

Job Specification:

• Must-have: Proven experience in field engineering, installations, commissioning, maintenance, troubleshooting, and decommissioning of mechanical, electrical, and network equipment.
• Valid White Card (or New Zealand equivalent) and ability to wear required PPE.
• Ability to travel to multiple Auckland sites; reliable onsite attendance.
• Strong communication and documentation skills; ability to represent the company professionally on site.
• Competent in safe power-off procedures, cable handling (LAN), unracking and equipment relocation following site procedures.
