- Assist engineers and artisans with site measurements, layouts and minor design updates.
- Support installation, maintenance and commissioning of mechanical equipment.
- Prepare and maintain tools, materials and work permits.
- Perform inspections, basic troubleshooting and fault reporting.
- Keep accurate job records and as-built notes; assist with handover packs.
- Follow safety procedures, report hazards and participate in toolbox talks.
- Liaise with supervisors, artisans and procurement for materials.
- Must-have: Mechanical aptitude and basic engineering workshop skills.
- Ability to read mechanical drawings and take measurements.
- Basic welding/fitting and hand-tools experience.
- Basic computer literacy (MS Office) and record keeping.
- Good communication, teamwork and time-management.
- Valid driver's license advantageous; able to work on-site in Rustenburg.
