Preferred
- Evaluate developmental milestones and perform daily health checks for children.
- Identify infant, toddler and preschool health issues; advise and guide parents (colic, weaning, teething, breastfeeding, vaccinations, toilet training, balanced diet).
- Monitor acute illnesses and follow center health policies; administer medications as required.
- Monitor body temperature and weight of infants, toddlers, and preschoolers; maintain temperature logs and health observations for staff, parents and children.
- Refer and report health issues promptly to center administrator and relevant managers; coordinate with company doctor.
- Ensure safe environment and adherence to health guidelines and COVID SOPs; implement handwashing and hygiene procedures.
- Conduct center health inspections and provide overall staff health supervision.
- Develop and conduct health training for daycare team; create training materials related to child health and staff development.
- Valid nursing qualification: RN, LHV, Midwife, Nurse Aide or equivalent.
- Experience or training in pediatrics, school nursing, childcare or related child health.
- Knowledge of child development, health screening, preventive care, and vaccination schedules.
- Medication administration and basic clinical monitoring (temperature, weight).
- Ability to identify subtle changes in behavior, mood or health and manage high-stress situations calmly.
- Clear communication with parents, staff and health professionals; accurate documentation and reporting.
Preferred
- Experience with center-based health policies, staff training, and development of training materials.
- Familiarity with COVID-19 SOPs and infection-control procedures.
