The Data Entry & AutoCAD Expert will support project documentation, drawing management, and site coordination through accurate digital records and CAD deliverables.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare, update, and maintain AutoCAD 2D drawings for architectural, structural, and MEP scopes based on field measurements and engineering inputs.
- Convert hand sketches, scanned drawings, and PDF plans into accurate DWG files and maintain version control.
- Maintain project databases: enter measurements, material lists, quantities, and bills of materials into company systems and spreadsheets.
- Assist project engineers with drawing revisions, markups, and coordination of clashes between disciplines.
- Ensure document control: apply file naming conventions, archive previous revisions, and distribute updated drawings to stakeholders.
- Produce standard layout sheets, as-built markups, and simple detail drawings as requested by site teams.
- Coordinate with site engineers, project managers, and contractors for technical clarifications and data collection.
- Proven proficiency in AutoCAD, including creating and editing DWG files and using layers, blocks, and layouts.
- Strong data entry accuracy and speed; experience maintaining spreadsheets and material/quantity lists.
- Familiarity with construction drawing conventions, scales, line weights, and basic drafting standards for architectural and MEP drawings.
- Experience converting scanned/PDF drawings into editable CAD files and producing as-built markups.
- Experience with document control practices, versioning, and file organization for engineering projects.
- Basic understanding of measurements, quantities, and bills of materials relevant to civil and MEP works.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and common office software for reporting and data management.

- Good communication skills to coordinate with site engineers, project managers, and contractors.
