Scrubs.pk is a medical apparel brand in Pakistan supplying scrubs and medical uniforms to healthcare professionals. Reporting to the board, the CEO will lead strategy, operations, brand and commercial growth while maintaining product quality and customer service. The role involves building cross-functional capabilities across product development, supply chain, marketing, sales, and finance to scale retail and institutional channels.
Key responsibilities:
- Define and execute a 35 year strategic plan to grow market share in Pakistan and expand institutional sales to hospitals and clinics.
- Lead product, supply chain, and vendor strategy to maintain quality, control costs, and ensure timely inventory replenishment.
- Oversee brand, e-commerce, and retail channel strategies to increase direct-to-consumer sales and corporate partnerships.
- Drive financial performance: set targets, manage P&L, optimize margins, and allocate capital effectively.
- Build, mentor, and retain a high-performing senior leadership team; set KPIs and foster a strong performance culture.
- Manage institutional contract negotiations and relationships with hospitals, clinics, and distributors.
- Ensure regulatory and compliance awareness for medical apparel and institutional procurement processes in Pakistan.
- Represent the company to the board, investors, and key stakeholders; lead investor relations and major commercial negotiations.
- Must-have: Prior CEO/MD or senior executive experience in retail, apparel, or healthcare supply industries with documented results scaling revenue and margins.
- Commercial acumen: experience managing P&L, pricing strategy, margin optimization, and contract negotiation with institutional buyers.
- Supply chain and vendor management: quality control, cost management, and on-time delivery from manufacturers and distributors.
- Brand and digital commerce: familiarity with e-commerce platforms, retail operations, digital marketing, and customer acquisition.
- Team building: hiring, mentoring, setting KPIs, and stabilizing cross-functional leadership teams.
- Regulatory/compliance: knowledge of standards relevant to medical apparel and institutional procurement in Pakistan.
- Analytical & communication: data-driven decision making, negotiation, stakeholder management, investor relations.
