Assistant Manager - Production Operations

Shift: Morning Shift

Overview:

• Oversee end-to-end production operations to reduce waste, ensure quality, and achieve on-time delivery.
• Implement process controls to reduce variance and maintain product standards.
• Lead teams, provide training, and ensure QMS and standards compliance.
• Coordinate maintenance and troubleshoot issues to minimize downtime.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and reduce waste.

• Operations management: Production planning, scheduling, capacity balancing, KPI tracking, shift coordination.
• Team leadership: Supervising frontline staff, performance coaching, conflict resolution, conducting performance reviews.
• Process improvement: Experience with Lean, Kaizen, 5S, root-cause analysis.
• Quality & compliance: Implementing QC checkpoints, corrective actions, maintaining SOPs, audit readiness.
• Inventory & vendor management: Stock control, order planning, supplier coordination.
• Data & reporting: Excel for analysis, producing operational reports, familiarity with basic ERP/HRIS modules.
• Communication & coordination: Stakeholder management, interdepartmental liaison, client-facing coordination.
