- Support trades teams (electricians, fitters, boilermakers, welders) with installations, repairs and maintenance on site.
- Prepare and maintain tools, equipment and materials.
- Clean and organize work areas; assist with lifting and positioning.
- Follow work instructions, drawings and safety procedures (SOPs, LOTO).
- Report faults, complete basic checks and assist with testing.
- Support handover and basic documentation of work completed.
- Minimum 1 year practical experience assisting trades on construction or mining sites.
- Basic trade knowledge: mechanical, electrical, welding.
- Competent with hand and power tools.
- Strong safety awareness and ability to follow procedures.
- Good teamwork and communication; ability to take direction.
- Physically fit, reliable, punctual and able to work shifts.
- Valid driver's licence advantageous.
- Basic computer literacy advantageous.
