Role overview:
We are seeking a Product Hunter & Sourcing Specialist to find high-demand, low-competition products for Private Label and Wholesale on Amazon (USA, UK, Australia). The role focuses on product discovery, competitor and keyword research, sourcing suppliers, landed cost calculations, and basic patent screening.
Key responsibilities:
- Product discovery: identify profitable products using criteria such as profit margin, weight, and competition
- Competitor analysis: evaluate listings, reviews, and sales velocity
- Keyword research: identify high-volume search terms to validate demand
- Sourcing: locate suppliers on Alibaba, negotiate prices, and work with freight forwarders
- Calculate ROI and profit margins after all Amazon fees
- Perform basic patent/design/utility patent screening
- Experience: Minimum 6-12 months in product research and sourcing
- Tools: Helium 10 (Black Box, Cerebro), Jungle Scout, Keepa, MerchantWord
- Sourcing: Experience dealing with Chinese suppliers and freight forwarders; Alibaba sourcing
- Analysis: Ability to calculate ROI and profit margins including Amazon fees
- Other: Basic patent screening skills
