Overview:
We are recruiting a detail-oriented Accounts Officer (AR) to manage receivables, collections, and customer account monitoring. The role reports to finance management and collaborates with sales to recover overdue payments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Issue invoices and maintain accounts receivable records
- Monitor customer accounts and follow up on outstanding payments
- Prepare receivables aging reports
- Record payments and reconcile accounts
- Support collections through calls, emails, and follow-ups
- Collaborate with the sales team to recover overdue payments
- Maintain proper financial documentation
- BSc/HND in Accounting, Finance, Banking & Finance, or related field
- 1-3 years' experience in receivables, collections, or credit control
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Familiarity with basic accounting tools and payment reconciliation
- Good communication and negotiation skills
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
