Source: mustakbil.com- Maintain day-to-day bookkeeping: journals, ledgers, and vouchers.
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable; prepare supplier and customer reconciliations.
- Perform bank reconciliations and monitor cash.
- Record and reconcile POS and sales transactions, VAT, and other tax filings.
- Assist with month-end close and prepare basic financial reports.
- Support inventory valuation and coordinate with store operations.
- Prepare documents for audits and assist management with ad-hoc financial tasks.
- Minimum 1 year of accounting experience, preferably in retail.
- Proficient with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero) and MS Excel.
- Knowledge of VAT, withholding tax, and basic tax compliance in the Philippines.
- Attention to detail, accuracy, and good organizational skills.
- Good communication and ability to work with store and operations teams.
- Basic understanding of inventory accounting and POS systems.
