Video Editor Expert

Job Description: Coreuptech is a Karachi-based computer software company delivering custom, scalable technology solutions for startups, SMEs and enterprises across Pakistan and abroad.

We build web and mobile applications, cloud-native systems, API integrations, data analytics and AI/ML-enabled features. We are seeking a Video Editor Expert to join our creative team and produce high-quality video assets for product demos, marketing campaigns, social media, training and client presentations.

The role will collaborate with product managers, designers, engineers and the marketing team to translate concepts and briefs into polished videos.

Responsibilities include:

• Edit, assemble and finalize video projects from raw footage, screen recordings and motion assets to deliverables optimized for web and social platforms.
• Create compelling short-form and long-form content: promotional videos, product walkthroughs, tutorials, case studies and ads.
• Design and integrate motion graphics, lower thirds, captions and animated UI overlays consistent with brand guidelines.
• Perform color correction, mix audio, remove noise and ensure consistent visual and audio quality across outputs.
• Prepare multiple export formats and deliverables for web, mobile, social and presentation contexts; maintain organized project files and version control.
• Work with cross-functional teams to iterate on drafts, incorporate feedback and meet deadlines in an agile environment.
• Keep up to date with trends in video production, codecs, compression and platform requirements; recommend tools and processes to improve quality and throughput.

Work arrangement: This position supports remote work with occasional on-site collaboration at our Karachi office for team reviews, recordings or client sessions.

Ideal candidate: Demonstrates strong storytelling through editing, technical proficiency across editing and motion tools, and a portfolio of finished videos showing range and polish.Job Specification:

• Proven experience editing videos for web and social platforms using Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro or equivalent.
• Strong motion graphics skills with Adobe After Effects, Motion or similar tools; ability to create lower thirds, animated UI overlays and transitions.
• Proficiency in color correction/grading and audio post-production (Adobe Audition, DaVinci Resolve Fairlight or equivalent).
• Experience working with screen recordings, UI capture and integrating animated UI elements into product demos.
• Knowledge of video codecs, compression, aspect ratios and export settings for YouTube, Instagram, LinkedIn and mobile delivery.
• Organized project file management, version control and ability to deliver multiple export formats and sizes.
• Strong sense of pacing, timing and visual storytelling; able to translate briefs into engaging narratives and concise tutorials.
• Ability to collaborate with designers, product managers and engineers; accept feedback and iterate quickly in an agile environment.
• Portfolio demonstrating range: promotional, tutorial/walkthrough, social short-form and longer product videos.
