Telecom Engineering Company (TEC), a Karachi-based provider of telecommunications and ELV solutions, is seeking a Sales Assistant to support business development and customer relationship activities. TEC specializes in design, supply, installation, testing, and commissioning of structured cabling, PA systems, fire alarm systems, CCTV, and access control.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the sales team with preparing quotations, proposals, and technical documentation for ELV and security projects.
- Maintain CRM records, track leads, update opportunity statuses, and coordinate follow-up actions to progress sales pipelines.
- Respond to customer inquiries via phone and email, gather project requirements, and schedule site visits with technical staff.
- Coordinate with procurement and engineering teams to confirm product availability, lead times, and pricing for accurate proposals.
- Prepare and maintain accurate sales documents, contracts, and tender submissions.
- Support coordination of site visits and arrange meetings between clients and technical teams.
- Provide timely updates and handoffs to the sales team to help close opportunities.
- Must-have: Strong verbal and written communication in English and Urdu.
- Familiarity with ELV and security product types and basic functions (CCTV, access control, fire alarm, PA systems, structured cabling).
- Experience using CRM or sales tracking tools to manage leads and opportunities; ability to maintain accurate records.
- Proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) for preparing proposals, reports, and presentations.
- Attention to detail for producing accurate quotations, contracts, and tender documents.
- Organizational skills to manage multiple tasks, follow up on actions, and coordinate site visit schedules.
- Customer-service orientation: ability to handle inquiries professionally and escalate technical issues appropriately.
- Basic commercial understanding: pricing, delivery timelines, and procurement coordination.
