Marketplace Operations Intern

Job Description: The Marketplace Operations Intern will support daily e-commerce and marketplace activities to scale product visibility, streamline order fulfillment, and improve seller and customer experiences. This hands-on internship includes working with digital product listings, inventory coordination, order processing, marketplace metrics, and sustainability-focused commerce.

Key responsibilities:

• Assist with product catalog management: create and maintain marketplace listings with accurate titles, descriptions, categories, and images.
• Coordinate with sourcing and inventory teams to track stock levels, update availability, and prevent stockouts/overselling.
• Support order processing and fulfillment workflows; liaise with logistics partners for timely dispatch and delivery updates.
• Monitor marketplace metrics and customer feedback; identify listing errors, returns, complaints and propose corrective actions.
• Implement pricing updates, promotional campaigns, and bundle offers aligned with sustainability messaging and business goals.
• Prepare routine reports on sales performance, top-selling SKUs, return rates, and marketplace trends.

Job Specification:

• Must-have: Familiarity with e-commerce marketplaces; experience with Daraz, Amazon, or local platforms preferred.
• Must-have: Strong attention to detail for product data entry, SKU management, and content accuracy.
• Must-have: Basic understanding of inventory management concepts and order fulfillment processes.
• Must-have: Comfortable using spreadsheets (Excel/Google Sheets) for data tracking, reporting, and simple analysis.
• Must-have: Good written and verbal communication for liaising with vendors, logistics partners, and internal teams.
• Must-have: Problem-solving mindset to identify and resolve listing issues, customer queries, and order exceptions.
