Electrician

Role Summary

We are seeking an experienced Electrician to join the maintenance team at our Rawalpindi-area manufacturing facility. The role supports continuous production by maintaining, troubleshooting and upgrading electrical systems across machinery, utility systems and plant infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine inspection, testing and preventive maintenance of electrical installations, motors, control panels, PLCs, starters and switchgear.
• Troubleshoot faults on production machinery, drives and automation systems to minimize downtime and restore safe operation.
• Carry out wiring, panel assembly, conduit installation and termination work to industrial standards and plant drawings.
• Assist with installation and commissioning of new equipment, ensuring electrical integration with controls and safety interlocks.
• Maintain accurate maintenance logs, report hazards and recommend corrective actions to improve reliability and safety.
• Work with the maintenance supervisor and cross-functional teams during repairs and shutdowns.

• Hands-on experience with industrial electrical systems, motor controls, 3-phase distribution and low-voltage switchgear.
• Proven ability to read electrical schematics, wiring diagrams and ladder logic for troubleshooting PLC-controlled machinery.
• Experience installing and maintaining AC/DC drives, contactors, relays, overloads and control circuits.
• Skilled in conduit, cable routing, termination, crimping and use of multimeter/insulation testers and other diagnostic tools.
• Familiarity with preventive maintenance programs, fault-finding methodology and root-cause analysis in manufacturing.
• Knowledge of electrical safety codes, lockout/tagout and safe working practices.
• Good communication and teamwork to coordinate with production, mechanical and electrical teams during repairs and shutdowns.
