Role Overview
Join Ballymoney Fabrics, a company specializing in backpack design and manufacture. We are seeking a creative Backpack Designer to develop innovative designs and enhance our product line.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop unique backpack concepts from concept to production
- Collaborate with the production team to ensure designs are practical and manufacturable
- Stay updated on fashion and accessory trends to create appealing designs
- Prepare tech packs and specifications for production
- Communicate with suppliers and manufacturers regarding materials
- Strong understanding of materials and manufacturing processes
- Knowledge of canvas and X-Pac fabrics
- Excellent visualization and sketching skills
- Ability to prepare detailed tech packs and specifications
- Good communication skills for liaising with suppliers and manufacturers
