Role Summary

We are seeking an experienced animal doctor (veterinarian) to join our farm health team and support livestock, poultry and allied animal operations across the company’s farms in and around Jhelum. The role involves on-site clinical care, herd and flock health planning, disease surveillance and collaboration with cross-functional teams to improve animal welfare, production and traceability.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide routine and emergency clinical care for livestock and poultry, including diagnosis, medical treatment and surgical procedures as required.
  • Develop and implement herd and flock health and vaccination programs, biosecurity protocols and parasite control strategies.
  • Monitor animal welfare, nutrition and production parameters and advise farm managers on corrective actions.
  • Perform disease surveillance, sample collection and interpretation of laboratory results.
  • Maintain accurate medical records, treatment logs and regulatory documentation.
  • Train and coach farm staff in animal handling and first-response care.
  • Work in field conditions, manage on-site priorities, and support integrated farm systems.
Job Specification:
  • Must-have: Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or equivalent registered with the Pakistan Veterinary Medical Council.
  • Experience: Minimum 3 years practical experience in livestock and poultry health.
  • Strong clinical skills in large animal and poultry medicine, including emergency surgery and anesthesia protocols.
  • Experience designing and implementing vaccination, deworming and biosecurity programs for mixed farms.
  • Proficiency in disease surveillance, sample collection and interpretation of laboratory results.
  • Knowledge of herd and flock health metrics, reproductive management and basic nutrition planning.
  • Competence in maintaining accurate medical records and regulatory documentation.
  • Communication and training skills to coach farm staff.
  • Ability to work in field conditions and manage multiple priorities.
  • Familiarity with integrated farm systems; commitment to animal welfare, food safety and traceability standards.
