- Role: Responsible for production scheduling, material planning, and coordination to meet automotive quality and delivery targets.
- Key responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain short- and medium-term production schedules.
- Manage MRP/ERP inputs, material requisitions, and inventory levels.
- Coordinate with procurement, production, QC, and logistics to ensure on-time delivery.
- Monitor capacity, lead times, and bottlenecks and propose improvements.
- Prepare production reports, KPIs, and demand forecasts.
- Support continuous improvement and cost-control initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with automotive standards and safety practices.
- Experience: Minimum 3 years' experience in production planning in automotive or manufacturing.
- Systems/Tools: Strong knowledge of MRP/ERP systems; proficient in MS Excel (PivotTables, VLOOKUP, data analysis).
- Domain: Familiarity with chain and sprocket manufacturing processes is a plus.
- Abilities: Inventory control, material planning, production scheduling, capacity monitoring.
- Soft skills: Problem-solving, prioritization, communication, ability to work under pressure and coordinate cross-functional teams.
