Senior Network Engineer

Job Description: Job Summary:

• We are seeking a skilled Senior Network Engineer to join our team in Islamabad. The role involves IT support, troubleshooting, and network administration, including Active Directory management, user support, software and hardware issue resolution, and ensuring IT systems operate smoothly.

Key Responsibilities:

• System Administration & User Management: Manage and maintain Active Directory, including user and group creation, access rights, and security policies. Install, configure, and support Windows 10/11. Ensure user access and permissions are assigned per company policies.
• Network & Security Support: Configure and troubleshoot IP addressing, DHCP, and DNS. Support network infrastructure to ensure connectivity and performance. Assist with firewall policies and access controls.
• Technical Support & Troubleshooting: Provide 1st and 2nd level support for hardware and software issues. Diagnose and resolve technical issues for end users via phone, email, or in person. Support IT systems including printers and scanners.
• Other: Assist with software installation and updates, inventory management, and asset tracking.

Job Specification:

• Minimum 2 years of IT support experience in a corporate environment.
• Strong hands-on experience with Active Directory user and group management.
• Proficiency in Windows 10/11 installation, configuration, and troubleshooting.
• Knowledge of IP addressing, DHCP, DNS, and basic network troubleshooting.
• Experience with software installation, updates, and technical support.
• Familiarity with inventory management and asset tracking tools.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
• Excellent communication skills and customer service orientation.
• Preferred: Experience with cloud services (Office 365, Azure AD).
• Preferred: Basic knowledge of firewalls, routers, and VPN configurations.
• Qualification: MCSE and CCNA training completed; certifications preferred.
