Job Description: Company: Flo Mobility Private Limited

Overview:

• Industrial automation startup building autonomous robots for construction sites.
• Responsible for on-site deployments and reliable operation of Autonomous Material Movement Robots with construction clients in Abu Dhabi.

Key responsibilities:

• Deploy, set up, calibrate, and commission autonomous robots on live construction sites.
• Plan and assign missions using the Mission Control Panel and execute autonomous runs safely.
• Monitor robot performance during operations; diagnose and troubleshoot hardware and software issues in the field.
• Perform parameter tuning for navigation and perception systems (e.g., Nav2) and assist with sensor calibration.
• Debug communication and hardware interfaces (CAN, UART, USB) and conduct basic maintenance and system checks.
• Work with a ROS2-based robotics software stack and collaborate with software and hardware teams to improve system reliability.
• Interact with customers and site teams to ensure safe, effective robot operation.

Job Specification:

• Must-have: Experience deploying and operating robotic systems on live sites or in field environments.
• Must-have: Hands-on experience with ROS2 and navigation stacks (Nav2).
• Must-have: Comfortable working on Linux (Ubuntu) and basic scripting/coding in Python.
• Must-have: Experience debugging hardware communication protocols such as CAN, UART, and USB.
• Must-have: Ability to tune navigation and perception parameters and interpret sensor outputs.
• Must-have: Strong problem-solving skills across software and hardware boundaries.
• Must-have: Good communication skills to interact with customers and cross-functional teams.
• Preferred: Familiarity with RViZ and Gazebo.
